Hartland Public Library
Who we are
Welcome to Hartland Public Library, in Hartland, Connecticut.
Hartland Public Library is run, staffed, and operated by a volunteers. Our Trustees and Library Volunteers are dedicated members of our local community.
We are one of smallest libraries in the state, and we proudly serve a population of just over 2,000 residents of our town, as well as visitors to our area.
In addition to our library collection, our library also hosts a display of historical texts and artifacts hosted by our Hartland Historical Society, including books written about and by residents of our town. We also have a restored canoe, school desk installation, and a historic painting from our original library building.
Our library aims to foster a love of books and reading, create a place of community connection, and provide a secure and comfortable library environment for members of our community.
